ABSTRACT: Introduction: Dengue is an arbovirus transmitted by the bite of the arthropods Aedes aegypti (A. aegypti), characterized by high fever (39° to 40°) with abrupt onset, headache, myalgia, asthenia, pain behind the eyes, nausea, rash, among others, being these above mentioned the main ones. Currently, according to the epidemiological bulletin, in 2020 there were records of 931,903 cases of dengue in Brazil, 142,560 of which in the northeast, that is, this disease is still quite frequent even with the implementation of the National Dengue Control Program (NDCP) in 2002. Finally, it was seen that social determinants such as socio-environmental inequality made it difficult to strengthen the power and responsibility of desires over their own history and local citizenship, consequently leading to an antagonism in the control of dengue. Objectives: To evaluate the knowledge of users assisted by a Teaching Assistance Unit (UDA) and Polyclinic of the Medical course about dengue. Check the frequency and quality with which health education actions on dengue have taken place.Identify the most assertive strategy to discuss dengue with users. Analyze the users’ opinion about the health actions about dengue, carried out at the UDA and Polyclinic of the medical course. Methods: This is a cross-sectional, observational and prospective study. All of the SUS users who attend a Teaching Assistance Unit (UDA) and a Polyclinic of the Medicine course at the Tiradentes University Center of Alagoas (UNIT-AL), will be part of the study, aged 18 years or over, without distinction of race or sex and by obtaining the signature of the Free and Informed Consent Form (FICF). A Data Collection Form will be used to carry out the research, which will consist of 29 questions regarding age, gender, race, profession, education level, socioeconomic status, health condition and knowledge about dengue, in addition to experience and user satisfaction in relation to health actions on this topic. This form will serve as a basis for statistical analysis of the information collected. Expected Results: It is expected that after surveying the population’s knowledge about dengue and the preference for a certain strategy for carrying out health education actions, it is possible to identify the degree of efficiency of the current way in which they are done and the cause, if there really is, any failure of the measures currently adopted. Conclusion: Thus, it is assumed that this study will serve as an aid to the restructuring of educational strategies in health and also as a form of future reassessment of the method chosen to be implemented.

}, number={9}, journal={SEMPESq - Semana de Pesquisa da Unit - Alagoas}, author={Diegues, Juliana Agra and Brandão, Maria Vilar Malta and Lourenzi, Vaneska da Graça Cruz Martinelli}, year={2021}, month={nov.} }
